• Facts About Your Yard Waste Pick Up

Our unusually cold winter had a traumatic affect on many of the plants, trees and bushes across the Palm Coast area. Over the past several weeks, residents have been cleaning out gardens and yards, ridding properties of lifeless plantings. With this surplus of this season's yard waste being deposited for curbside pick up, Waste Pro would like to remind residents of the following recommended guidelines:

    • Please do not put yard waste in recycle bins.
    • Yard waste must be contained, bagged, boxed or bundled and tied, not to exceed 4 feet in length, 6 inches in diameter or 60 pounds in weight.
    • Please place your yard waste curbside before 6:00 a.m. on Wednesdays.
    • Leaves, grass or shrubbery cuttings are considered yard waste; trees and land clearing must be removed by a contractor.
    • Larger piles of yard waste that require a special truck will be subject to an additional fee. Waste Pro will provide free estimates for this service.
    • Before you remove a tree, please contact the City for approval and permitting procedures.
    • Yard waste should include weekly accumulations – not monthly or annually.
Please remember that Waste Pro has thousands of properties to service and would like our neighborhoods to look clean and fresh, much like each of us want to see.
