I went to their location in Ormond last week. The restaurants they had in the nasty motels (Rodeo and Salsa's original home on US 1) were so shabby that I was shocked when I entered and saw how nice it was. Although the nasty locations never kept me from visiting. They always had good food and service.

In case anyone is curious, they do have shredded beef tacos and enchiladas available- you just have to ask. They dont have it on the menu though.

ROOT Thanked for this post

that's a very good thing to know ! the rellenos were poblano and not encrusted with excess batter that is important to me. the salsa and guacamole could have used some fire but I might have to ask for the right stuff.

We went tonight and I was pleased with my meal, had the combination platter with 2 enchiladas, taco, beans and rice. plenty of food, very tasty, and house special margarita's 2 for 1... I'll defiantly go back. The place was packed with a line going out the door and the waitress said it was that way since they opened. Root I bet if you tell them how you like your rellenos they will try to please you.

A line out the door on a Tuesday night? Wow That sounds good.
we saw that it was packed last night when we drove by,going to give it a few weeks before going, let some of the newness wear off.
I'm only responsible for what I say,not how you understand it..

Yeah to be honest I usually give new restaurants about 6 months. By then they are usually settled and things are the way you can expect them , short of an 0wner or PRINCIPAL CHANGE!

I can't wait to get home and pick my regular table. the mole sauce on the enchiladas was yummy and I really likes the rellenos.

I was a little disappointed. The food was good but it sure wasn't hot or even warm. The Tortilla didn't seem cooked or heated at all. The rest was just cold. Not sure how inclined I would be to go back.
We have been there four times and it was excellent every time.
The Crab & Spinach Appetizer is outstanding!
I love the Shrimp Soup!
My wife, Judith, who used to live in Mexico, said it is the best Mexican Food outside of Mexico she has ever had!

The parking lot is packed full yet the service is right on top of things. I'm glad palm coast is giving such a warm welcome to salsas. And further glad its within stumbling distence from home cause themargaritas are fabulous
