WTF Flagler Live???????

I made a comment about the guy who shot his wife. I was curious as to why Flagler Live suggested it happened Monday night OR Tues morning.

Barb, we initially reported the incident as having taken place Tuesday morning, but from the information provided by the sheriff’s office up until then, that was an assumption we shouldn’t have made. The sheriff’s office is unfortunately not forthcoming with basic information, and repeated calls and emails to its PIO to verify that sort of thing get us nowhere.

This is an ongoing investigation with the FCSO and they need time to complete the investigation. Otherwise the news can be reported incorrectly. Give them time to finish and I'm sure they will be forthcoming with their findings.

It was never posted.

But PalmCoaster's criticism of the Sheriff's office was.

You know Pierre, the FCSO does a damn decent job. Their job is to get the job done and do it right. I'm sorry your little feathers got ruffled because they wouldn't tell you anything, but the investigation is more important than your irresponsible news reporting.

It's not a news source. It's a place to flatter Pierre or your thoughts aren't welcome. It's so damn frustrating. Wouldnt be a bad place to go if it wasn't run that way. He needs to get a thicker skin or grow a pair....

Me neither, I even posted something that was in agreement with him and it was Deleted. that is one reason I had his rss feed going so that comments could be made freely without censorship.
I am also really glad that FCSO is getting much better with getting the Facebook updates rapidly so they are published from the horses mouth directly and on a timely basis .
I get the Emails but I just can't hoover over my email and repost the news releases immediately.

Hm maybe I should change my nickname to Instigator or Improvised Explosive Device ( I'd have used the intials but am afraid more than one would misconstrue the letter for some insertable device (grin)).

Seems i always start trouble no matter where I go.
