Palm Coast, Fla. - The nearly one-mile section of the popular St. Joe Walkway trail that had been temporarily closed for construction of a new sanitary sewer line has been reopened, the City of Palm Coast announces.
Minor cleanup, seeding and sodding is still under way, so crews will continue working in the area over the next few days. But that won't affect use of the trail.
"We appreciate residents' patience as we completed this important sewer system upgrade," said Mary Kronenberg, the Utility Division's project coordinator. "We know local walkers, runners and bicyclists will be happy to be back out on the trail!"
