Default Joseph Frank Bova II Arrested for Mobil murder of Zuheily Rosado

Friday May 10th 2013 @ 4:37PMInvestigators Arrest Man in Connection with Mobil Mart Clerks Homicide
Flagler County Sheriff’s investigators have made an arrest in connection with the February 21 execution style
shooting death of Zuheily Rosado, a convenience store clerk who had been working at the Mobil Mart gas
station located at 6020 East State Route 100 in Palm Coast.

Joseph Frank Bova II, 25, whose last known address was 4600 East Moody Boulevard, Bunnell, was arrested
late Thursday afternoon by detectives with the Boca Raton Police Department on a warrant issued out of
Flagler County on charges of First Degree Murder in connection with Rosado’s death.

Surveillance video from the Mobil that was obtained on the night of the homicide was later further reviewed
at which time a man, now believed to be Bova, was seen entering the store and using the stores ATM machine
several hours prior to the shooting to use.

Early in their investigation, investigators learned of the make and caliber of the weapon used in the attack and
began a canvas of local gun retailers. Investigators learned that Bova had purchased a handgun similar to the
one used in the homicide from a gun shop in Daytona Beach in 2012. Based on information obtained
regarding the ATM transaction and the purchase of a handgun similar to the one used in the homicide
investigations viewed Bova as a person of interest in their investigation.

Investigators, working with detectives of the Boca Raton Police Department, located Bova who was living out
of his vehicle in Boca Raton. Flagler County investigators travelled to Boca Raton on Monday and worked
with local law enforcement authorities to secure a search warrant for Bovas vehicle.

A search of the vehicle was conducted on Tuesday at which time a handgun was recovered from inside the
vehicle. Investigators submitted the handgun for examination to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
(FDLE) and for comparison with the three shell cartridge casings that were recovered at the homicide scene
on the night of Ms. Rosado death. Investigators were notified Wednesday by FDLE that the handgun that had
been recovered from Bovas vehicle was a match to the weapon used in the homicide. Investigators then
secured a warrant for Bovas arrest.

Following Bovas arrest, investigators returned to Boca Raton and attempted to speak with him about the
incident. Bova disclosed little information and later declined to speak further with investigators.
Bova was booked into the Palm Beach County Detention facility Thursday evening where he is being held on
no bond to await return to Flagler County.

“Ms. Rosado’s death was both tragic and senseless. This man has forever changed the lives of Ms. Rosado’s
children, her parents, other family members and friends,” said Sheriff James L. Manfre. “My hope is that the
arrest of this man in connection with her death will allow Ms. Rosado’s family to move further along in the
    healing process.”

The Address is for the Mobile gas Station @ 100 & I-95
Given it's closeness to I-95 like other business's in such locations it appears to be a target for criminals.

I wonder if this is related or coincidence?

Considering the time the body was discovered could the crime have happened a few hours earlier?

    from:http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/g...ted-in-Georgia
CAMDEN COUNTY, GA. - Four people are in custody in Georgia after allegedly committing an armed robbery in Florida and then fleeing the state.

Investigators with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office contacted the Camden County Sheriff's Office and asked that deputies be on the lookout for a vehicle that was allegedly used in an armed robbery in Titusville, Fla., according to a release from the CCSO.

Around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night Camden County Sheriff's deputies spotted a car fitting the suspect vehicle's description near mile marker nine on I-95 and stopped it.
Jaromy Jazmin Floriano, 20, of Bluffton, South Carolina., was allegedly driving that vehicle and had active warrants out of Brevard County for armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and grand theft.
Deputies said they found a loaded 12 gauge shotgun hidden under a towel by the driver's seat, along with a small amount of marijuana. Deputies also reported finding Floriano's infant child in the vehicle as well. The child was turned over to the Division of Family and Children Services in Georgia.

About an hour later, at 9:10 p.m., deputies were notified of alleged suspicious activity at the Sunshine Travel Plaza at exit 14 in Woodbine, Ga. Deputies searched a white SUV and discovered that the tags came back to a black Audi sedan. The SUV's driver, 25-year-old Brittany Lynn Shuman, and her passenger, 22-year-old Matthew Emmanuel Vazquez, allegedly had items in the SUV that deputies thought could have been stolen in the Brevard County armed robbery. Deputies also found that the pair from Savannah had a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. A child in the vehicle, believed to be Shuman's, was turned over to a family member.
Investigators stopped a third vehicle, a gold-colored Lexus, 10 minutes later at the Glynn-Camden County line, and determined that the vehicle was stolen from Orange County, Florida. Deputies arrested the vehicle's driver, Yubran Marwalt Alverez-Vazquez, 20, of Bluffton, South Carolina.

All four suspects are being held in the Camden County Jail. Floriano is charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon. Shuman is charged with possession of drug-related objects. Vazquez faces charges of bringing stolen property into the state and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Alverez-Vazquez is charged with being a fugitive from justice and theft by bringing stolen property into the state. All of the suspects face additional charges.

I feel fr the family. It's got to be hard. Especially when there doesn't seem to be a clear reason why it took place. I have not read where it was a robbery or any other reason for the killing of this woman.
