"Ethic's Office" -- that is a joke! I'd be surprised if 10% of those at or near the top of the administration have any idea of the meaning and the ability to apply "ethics"... their supporters must be so proud...NOT!

And yes, I know that other administrations have also granted ethics waivers...it is important to look at what the waiver is for and the person's position to whom it is granted. Sometimes it is as little to allow a long-time associate/friend/family member to be allowed to introduce someone who is speaking at a function, etc.; or sometimes it is an attorney whose former law firm is representing a client, from before their appointment, in some type of legal action. And, then there are those who need waivers where they will have a direct opportunity to increase their non-government income, personal wealth and such.
