Obviously, it makes no difference where it was located. It was presented as evidence of dubious activity and judgement without any logical substantiation.
Thank you, Many of us that have brought up BC and HC' are not doing it to dismiss accusations against DT, We are just confused by the double standard.
After reading more about the Vegas act It appears that the accusations about events in Russia are a confabulation of Imaginations. There is NO evidence! Furthermore , the proposed "problem" is being compromised and susceptible to Coercion by blackmail. At this point in the rumor mill and revolution that information does not hold much influence, Did we even stop to think that this entire charade is the desired disruption of the POTUS ability to do his job.
we have overlooked much more specific and egregious accusations of sexual assault by BC that have significant substance and a pattern starting with Juanita Broaddrick and repeated over the next 40 years. Maybe the problem is that those accusations are so outlandish they have never been expected to be more true than false. More Than Whispers
No shit!!! I'm reading this stuff and am blown away. WTF are we a third world country? He's the damn president. This crap is just insane. I was in Boston for the Catholic Church horror show, it seems that this type of stuff has been going on forever.
So, does Trump get a pass because others did? I'd like to think not.

I can accept that Clinton has been as much of a womanizer as trump. Their transgressions with women are both egregious. But I refuse to respect trump because of his other failings; those that affect the greater population. His habitual lies, his mercurial decision-making, and his profound ignorance of world affairs is dangerous. I understand the concern with the apparent double standard. But umbrage about the then versus now places the now in a subordinate position. Now is what we must deal with, and we can do nothing about the alleged sins of the past. That is why we bristle at the Clinton references, the Obama rants, and the insult of Democrats. For many of us who believe in truth, logical arguments, and ethical behavior, trump has assaulted our life-long belief systems; the stuff our parents taught us; the lessons we learned in school; and the life experiences that formed our values. Just as trump has stoked the fear of immigrants, he has also stoked in us the fear that these values of truth, ethics, and responsibility have been devalued and that anyone can say anything because they choose to say anything. When facts do not mater, no opposing view of an issue is possible. We post because we are desperate to salvage a quality of conversation that we sense is being eroded and our voices and the voices of post-trump will drift into the wind and disappear.
limner43But isn't that exactly what is being done to Trump??Now is what we must deal with, and we can do nothing about the alleged sins of the past.
I found a preacher who spoke of the light but there was brimstone in his throat
He'd show me the way according to him in return for my personal check
I flipped my channel back to CNN and I lit another cigarette
I want to be Clear that Art can take many forms, and is absolutely subjective. Appreciation of even the most unusual is not an indication of approval, some of the most painful things in life are described with tortured images that by design are painful to view and reflect upon. However one could make some presumptions, if your large collection (that you have invested lots of money into) is composed of a particular kind of erotic art.
But What we need to keep in mind is that all of this mud is purported to be from the same sources trying to disrupt our election. if we are to look for the scaffold of truth that supports the lies we should be inclusive.
lets call it peado-errotic art , Tony is the art dealer who keeps numerous mutuel social ties with John who reveals much more direct involvement in those activities through the leaked emails. The entire Pizza gate scenario tried to focus on the comet pizza parlor and a flood of misinformation that took the light off those bizzare emails with peodphilic phrases. It is a laborious rabbit hole to sift through but it creates some bizzare conclusions.

Art is subjective, yet you can make some presumptions about a collection. Interesting theory.
I do not understand what drives people's taste in art...LOL I mean, I think Picasso's art is atrocious; however, others are willing to pay millions for one of his pieces of work. Go figure?? Then there is Jackson Pollock, and I swear any of us should be able to produce a work like many of his; however, we don't and no one would pay a penny for it if we did... But, alas I do know that art is subjective and I truly do believe in "to each his own" and I admire and sing praises that we have the right to choose those pieces we love and wish to own.

Artists like Pollock and Picasso are revered by historians simply because their creations....whatever you may think of them......changed the trajectory of the art world. For example, the Impressionists saw the world in daubs of color when the art world was practicing highly detailed realism. It represented a new theory of how we see color. Picasso painted figures as seen from several angles simultaneously, as opposed to the traditional one fixed viewpoint. Pollock focused on the unplanned interaction of paint rather than a planned composition. As Steve Jobs influenced how we communicate, these artists influenced their contemporaries and fostered new theories of expression.
"In the eye of the beholder" is never more prevalent than in the appreciation or not of art work. And to get back on topic of this thread, I give you ...

The ignorant and intolerant are always with us. Parents once objected to my teaching Catcher in the Rye and Lord of the Flies because of language and violence. But we had polite and constructive discussions. Unfortunately, trump's behavior has tacitly sanctioned a new level of intolerance and violence that has become more overt. Even the Parkland teen protesters have received death threats for their stance on gun control. So much for free speech and expression in an increasingly fascist society. Other than this forum, I avoid talking politics. I am too old to be throttled.
