I live on micro meals, but that boggles the mind. If I were asked to guess how much --- I wouldn't have come close.

I don’t buy them because I don’t cook (grill) them ... I was just shocked when I saw the price.
I do a lot of the microwave meals too...Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine and even Marie Callender make some pretty decent frozen meals.

To me they are the best steaks for grilling. We love NY Strips on the bbq but must say they we wait for a sale at Publix for when they are 8.99/lb and then we stock up.... I break down the 2 or 3 piece packages to individually wrapped and frozen pieces.
In fact, just notice in this morning's flyer that they are on sale, adding to the grocery list.

Sometimes it's worth the drive to the butcher in Fleming Island.
Every now and then they have 'box' specials. All frozen. For example...
$50 box special NY Strips (6)
$39.90 for 10 pounds of Ground Chuck (wrapped in 1lb packs)
$20 box special Bacon Wrapped Chop Sirloin Burgers (10)
Of course, he always has fresh and will cut it how you want it.

Meat prices are crazy. I like to make a roast but it is so expensive, I can only buy one once in awhile.
