Yeh!! I always wondered when they'd get their crap together and realize this!! I often wondered when people were attacked by sharks if this was recently fished the morning earlier or as a usual feeding spot for fish bait. Send the fishing people down the road and away from swimmers and surfers trying to enjoy the day out with family!!! We don't need to turn it into a feeding bed for sharks. I believe fish have good memories of feeding areas. I used to feel our bass and other fish in our fishing post as a youngster. Permits at no cost? Ha, that is just to register fisherman so they can be tracked down later after someone is bitten by a shark and investigated. Great idea!

Yes, they throw that line out and let the current take it for a ways and put their little cheap poles in them PVC holders they pound into the sand, and sit and watch while they have a beer and catch a few winks. I see it every day. I'd rather watch then fishermen who fish about few miles north of the pier. They seem to know what they are doing, are friendly, and they believe in fishing a safe distance from the swimmers and tourists so nobody gets hurt after they pack up and leave, leaving the sharks to mingle..
